Shock Collar
So I'm sitting on the couch in the great room (aka the living room; my family just wanted to be fancy) just listening to music when I hear my mom yell "Olivia" really loud. I immediately perk up, turn off my music and pay attention. Olivia is sitting in one of the arm chairs reading her Harry Potter book with a smirk on her face. My mom walks in holding up one of our dog's shock collar. (Background info: we own a small begion-wiener dog mix who is two. In our yard we have a hill and a metal fence that does not touch the ground all the way in one spot. When we first got Charlie he got out of the fence a lot so we had to get a shock collar so he wouldn't run away.) I become very confused as to why she is holding the shock collar so I ask what's up. Apparently, Olivia had put the shock collar on my five year old brother Evan and told him to walk out the front door and get the mail (the invisible fence only extends to the front porch). Thankfully, Evan had gone into the sun room and showed my parents what his sister put around his neck. She almost got grounded. So close, and yet so far away.
